Kalamazoo Ringers invite you to join us for our 2024 Christmas concert. Join us to celebrate the wonder and magic of Christmas at First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo at 3:00pm EST on Saturday, December 14, 2023.

We’ll be joined for our concerts by talented flutist Martha Councell-Vargas. Martha enjoys an adventurous career as a soloist, chamber musician, and multi-media artist, having performed in Europe, China, across the Americas, and throughout the United States. A specialist in the music of Latin America and the Caribbean, she has performed as a soloist with the Orquesta Nacional de Ecuador (Quito), as a guest artist for the Festival Internacional de Flautistas in Lima, Peru, and as a recitalist in Panamá City, Tegucigalpa, Bogotá, Mexico City, and Buenos Aires. She has performed across the United States on the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert Series at the Chicago Cultural Center, as a featured soloist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.

It’s open to the public – come one, come all! Although, there’s no cost of admission, you’re invited to contribute to our freewill offering or to donate to KR online.

We’ll also be collecting hats, gloves, scarves and mittens in our annual Outerwear Drive to help those in need in our local community. Don’t worry about wrapping them, because we want those who receive them to warm up right away. If you can help our community, we’ll be at First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo from 1:00-3:00 pm on concert day, or you can bring your gifts when you come to the concert.
